Randy L. New

Randy L. New focuses on advising and assisting clients of closely-held businesses. Randy has over three decades of experience providing both legal and business advice to clients; from establishing start up companies to facilitating exit strategies for founder-owned and operated businesses. His experience includes both private company entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 company executives; and spans myriad industries, including companies in the fields of Telecommunications, Information Technology, Healthcare, and Staffing. Randy also consults on a broad range of corporate issues and complex business transactions.


He leverages his unique entrepreneurial and legal background to help determine the impact of stakeholder initiatives, corporate productivity, profitability, and also assess the financial and corporate impact of potential merger and acquisition opportunities. Given Randy’s legal experience, he can also help assess the implications on your business of local and federal regulations.


Randy graduated from Emory University School of Law with Distinction in 1982, and earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 1976. Randy is currently a member of Emory University’s School of Law Advisory Committee, having previously served on Emory’s Board of Visitors. Additionally, Randy has been and continues to be an Adjunct Professor at Emory’s law school, teaching “Doing Deals – Corporate Practice Workshop.”
